Alexander 5 Weeks | Newborn Lifestyle

I spent a lovely afternoon on Saturday photographing Danielle and Ben and their beautifully baby boy Alexander (only 5 weeks new) at their family home in Mosman.

On my arrival, Alexander had not long been fed and was peacefully asleep in his rocker.  While all was quiet in the house we took the opportunity to take some lovely indoor portraits before going outside into the garden.  Danielle and Ben’s home has the most amazing view of Sydney Harbour and Clifton Gardens, so how could I resist sneaking a photograph.  Afterwards it was time for Alexanders feed time, and some more sleep (yup, that’s all Alexander wanted to do, SLEEP!)  With one last family cuddle I was on my way, but not before popping into the nursery to say my goodbyes to this sweet little man.

Thank you Danielle and Ben for letting me do what I love….

I loved you from the very start…
You stole my breath, embraced my heart.

Thank you Danielle for allowing me to capture this precious time in your life.

Wedding of Cheyne + Lisa | Fiji

All I can say is WOW, what a wedding!

Cheyne and Lisa exhanged vows in front of 90 friends and relatives from Australia for their beautiful destination wedding in Fiji.  It is obvious by the number of guests that flew over that Cheyne and Lisa are very much loved.  I also love them as I got to go to Fiji and photograph a gorgeous wedding for an amazing couple…I am ever so grateful.

The ceremony took place in Paradise Chapel at the Sheraton Fiji Resort.  With the vows exchanged and the song ‘Alive’ by Empire of the Sun playing in the background, it was time for the bridal party portraits nearby in the stunning grounds of both the Westin and Sheraton Resorts.  After battling the tropical heat and some strong winds, there was a very warm welcome at the Flying Fish Restaurant where everyone enjoyed fine dining, cocktails and live music that continued late into the night.

It was such a pleasure to photograph your wedding Cheyne and Lisa, and from the bottom of my heart…thank you.  xx

Wedding of Scott + Sarah | Curzon Hall

Childhood sweethearts Scott and Sarah married on Friday at Curzon Hall.  They celebrated with close family and friends some of which came all the way from Scotland.

Sarah looked absolutely stunning wearing a traditional wedding gown whilst Sarah’s bridesmaids complimented her perfectly with their gorgeous flowing purple dresses.  Elegant and breathtaking….

Scott and his Groomsmen, in keeping with his Scottish heritage, wore kilts.  I’m not so sure Scott wore his kilt in the traditional manner though, as I do have a rather revealing photograph taken later in the night by my trusty assistant Belinda.  All I can say (or see)  is blue ‘Bonds’.

The love that Scott and Sarah have for each other is obvious and the day couldn’t have been more perfect for them both.  I am so thankful to Sarah and Scott for asking me to be their photographer and I wish them all the happiness in the world.

Aisbett Family Session

I have loved watching this family grow.  It’s is such an honour to be invited back for a 4th time to photograph Sarah and her family.

This time for a much welcomed casual approach photographing Sarah’s three children playing in their secret garden…just as they are.

Thank you Sarah.
