Walkom Family Session

Meet Belinda from Belinda Walkom Photography and her absolutely gorgeous family.

A family so close to my heart.  For those of you that don’t know me well, Belinda is my best friend.  Our two eldest children went to pre-school together and if I remember correctly, one our very first conversations went a long the lines of ‘oh, you’re a photographer too, so am I’.  The second conversation went something like ‘please tell your son to stop kissing my daughter’.  Lifetime friends from that moment onwards!

Well Belinda has been talking about a doing a family shoot for months now (possibly years 😉 ) and how could I say no when Belinda asked ME to be the photographer.  Such a privilege 🙂

A lot of thought went into this Autumn themed shoot, everything styled just perfectly and I’m so glad we got plenty of fabulous shots.  Spoilt for choice that’s for sure.

Enjoy the sneak peak Bel.

Hughes Family Session

I met up with the Hughes Family on Saturday at a local park in Richmond.

Jesse and Jaime are 18 month old twins, so they certainly had me on my toes.  Busy little bees they were.

Jaime was quite the little girl showing me her beautiful dress and of course, boys being boys, Jesse was in awe of the helicopter that was landing and taking off at the RAAF base opposite.

After a short stroll through the park we ended up under the canopies of some beautiful Liquidambar trees.  The twins had a ball playing in the Autumn leaves (and I’m guessing by these photos Dad did too).

Enjoy your sneak peak Janelle and Peter, it was lovely to meet you both and your two precious children.

Vallejo Family Session

Another sun-kissed family session at Fagan Park, this time with the Vallejo Family.

Sandy and Cris have been together for 16 years and have two beautiful beautiful boys to complete their family.  I couldn’t resist stealing them away though for a romantic couple shot before the boys dived in for a group hug.

I had a such a great time photographing you all.

Enjoy the sneak peak.

Naomi + Carl | Vaucluse House Wedding

I was so excited to be able to photograph Naomi and Carl’s wedding day.  They were married last Sunday at Vaucluse House, Sydney.

Naomi’s parents Miyoko and Masao flew in from Japan, and both proudly walked Naomi down the aisle and gave her away – it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The reception was held aboard the Pontoon Boat and we were all graced with the most amazing sunset.

Congratulations Naomi and Carl,  it was truly an amazing day.  And all the best for your Japanese ceremony in Japan next month.

Newborn Max | 9 days old

Meet Max (or should I say mini Ross) – the spitting image of his daddy and he even arrived on this daddy’s birthday too.

OK, we like our newborns to be fast asleep during the session so we can achieve those nice curly sleepy poses that we all adore. But Max had other ideas, and preferred to be awake, WIDE awake – for the majority of the session I might add.

Not letting that deter us, we soldiered on and eventually Max did rest his eyes and working quickly we got some amazing shots.

Congratulations Nicole and Ross, he’s absolutely beautiful.  And because of all that newborn cuteness,  your Mum Nicole and I forgive you for not sleeping.
